Western Montana is one of the premier flyfishing destinations in the United States. Montana has some of the finest blue-ribbon quality trout fisheries, with a tremendous variety of rivers. We fish the Blackfoot, Bitterroot, and Clark Fork, all in close proximity to Missoula. We also fish the Missouri, an incredible fishery located in central Montana. Each stream offers a unique flyfishing experience and gives you more options to catch your limit. This allows us to cater to your technical preferences and/or skill level. On rivers we believe in catch and release only. In addition, JM-Bar Outfitters offers multi-day pack trips to remote mountain lakes. These lakes offer what you have been missing, a cut above the ordinary, remote and ready to be explored. Catch and release or a native dinner your choice. JM-Bar Outfitters is a family operated guide service, we pride ourselves in giving our clients a traditional Montana experience. Our guides know our waters and how to fish them. Your satisfaction is our #1 priority.

FLOAT AND WADE TRIPS

We offer single and multi-day float trips; as well as wading. All flies and a first class streamside lunch are provided. In addition, with advanced notice we can provide fly rods and other essential gear. Let us know what we can do to make your trip unforgettable. Great fishing, scenery, and food! Floating and Wade Trip Rates:

• Float Trips (1 or 2 people) - Rock Creek = 490.00
• Float Trips (1 or 2 people) - All other rivers = 450.00
• Wade Trip (1 or 2 people) - All Rivers = 425.00

Reservations: We require a 50 % deposit and recommend that you book as much in advance as possible. We welcome Visa, MasterCard, and personal checks.

Refunds: With a 48-hour notice we will give you a 100% refund. A cancellation fee of $200 is required with less than a 48-hour notice.

MULTI-DAY FISHING PACK TRIPS

If you like the idea of waking up on the shores of a remote mountain lake – getting ready for a day of flyfishing via float tube -- our pack trips just might be for you. JM-Bar Outfitters mountain pack trips are horse pack trips with traditional Montana camping and cooking at its finest. Flies, float-tubes, and sleeping quarters are included. We cater to family and adult groups alike.
